Staff request for time off
This course focuses on competencies (knowledge and skills) that are Ontario specific to ensure out-of-province applicants have knowledge of the requirements included in the Mortgage Brokerages.
Current Policy as of June 1, 2023
- Full time permanent employees can take advantage of six (6) paid wellness days per calendar year, to accrue at one (1) paid wellness day for every two (2) months worked;
- Wellness days will expire at the end of each calendar year, and may not be carried forward; however
- Employees can request to cash out any unused wellness days at the end of each calendar year, to be paid at 1.5 times salary
Wellness days can be used for when employees have personal needs, such as appointments, illnesses or injuries, taking care of a family member, dealing with personal emergencies, volunteering at or taking part in a community event, or weather related events. Wellness days can be booked in advance.
