The Online Self Study version of the HLLQP is best suited for those students who are able to work on their own, enjoy or need to be able to work at their own pace and have a minimum level of self-motivation. Designed for ease of use, this course combines video case studies, interactive quizzes and a user-friendly format with the ability to communicate with your dedicated instructor online when you need the help.
HLLQP Online Course Certification Examinations:
- Exam format: PROCTORED online, with webcam and microphone required
- Number of exams: 4 (Life Insurance, Segregated Funds, Ethics and professional practice and Accident and Sickness)
- Question format: Multiple Choice
- Time Limit: 75 minutes each
- Number of questions: Life Insurance, Segregated Funds, Accident and Sickness: 30 questions; Ethics and professional practice: 20 questions
- Passing Grade: 60%

The topics covered in the HLLQP course are based on course manuals approved by the regulator. The 4 core components of the course are Life Insurance and Life Insurance Taxation Principles, Segregated Funds, Ethics and Professional Practice and Accident and Sickness.

Damian was the Sales and Advanced Marketing Director for two major life insurance companies and headed Advocis’ Continuing Education Department for over 10 years.
Damian runs a full-service financial planning practice in the Greater Toronto Area and holds the CFP, CLU and CH.F.C. designations.
